Rachel is a scenic artist based in Northwest Arkansas. She took up her current role as Scenic Charge Artist for TheatreSquared after receiving her BFA in Design and Production from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a concentration in Scenic Art.
As Scenic Charge Artist, she paints theatrical backdrops and sets using a combination of techniques including faux finishes, trompe l’oeil, and three dimensional textures designed to immerse the audience in the story being told. Additionally, Rachel enjoys completing commissions and is known for her work painting backdrops used in professional theaters. She excels in creativity, bringing the vision and daring of designers to life with every show and project.
