Rachel Williams is a seasoned scenic artist and custom backdrop painter based in Northwest Arkansas. From her Fayetteville studio, she specializes in designing and hand-painting bespoke backdrops for theatre, dance, and live events, serving clients nationwide with precision craftsmanship and personalized on-site support when needed.

Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design & Production with a concentration in Scenic Art from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Rachel combines formal training with extensive practical experience. She has contributed her scenic artistry to prestigious national Broadway tours, including The Cher Show, Fiddler on the Roof, and Hamilton (Angelica Company). Additionally, she has served as Scenic Charge Artist for over thirty-six productions at TheatreSquared, managing large-scale scenic painting projects with creative leadership and technical expertise.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail, creative adaptability, and mastery of advanced techniques such as trompe l’oeil, faux finishes, and dimensional scenic treatments, Rachel excels at translating complex design concepts into vivid, immersive environments that captivate audiences and elevate production value.
